Namma Personal Fintracker ("we," "our," or "us") provides personal finance tracking tools for budgeting, expenses, investments, subscriptions, loans, and family finance collaboration. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you.

Service scope: Namma Personal Fintracker is a personal finance management app. It does not provide banking, lending, brokerage, insurance underwriting, or financial advisory services.

1. Information You Provide

Account and profile information

Name, email address, account identifier, and profile photo URL when you sign in with Google or email-based authentication.
Preference data such as theme, layout, language, MPIN setup state, and reminder choices.

Financial and household data

Transactions, budgets, income, expenses, loans, subscriptions, investments, bank balances, AMC assets, monthly snapshots, and other values you enter or edit in the app.
Household collaboration data such as family vault names, member roles, invitee email addresses, and shared finance records when you use family features.

2. Information Collected Automatically

Basic service and device information needed to operate the app, such as platform details, browser or webview user agent, login timestamps, and sync status metadata.
Locally stored preferences on your device or browser using local storage to preserve settings, lock state, onboarding state, and cached app data.
Advertising-related data collected by integrated advertising SDKs, including the Android advertising identifier where supported and permitted.

3. How We Use Information

To create and secure your account.
To synchronize your finance data across signed-in devices.
To deliver core features such as reminders, dashboards, subscriptions, loans, investments, and household sharing.
To operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the app.
To display ads in supported areas of the mobile app through Google AdMob.

4. Android Permissions

The Android app may request or include the following permissions and SDK-provided capabilities:

android.permission.INTERNET to connect to backend services and load network content such as ads.
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS to show user-enabled reminders and alerts.
android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED to restore scheduled reminders after device restart.
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID and related advertising service permissions added by advertising SDKs for ad delivery and measurement.
Some additional network, wake, foreground-service, or ads-related permissions may be added transitively by integrated Android libraries.

5. Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal financial data. We rely on service providers that process data on our behalf to operate the app.

Firebase

Firebase Authentication for sign-in and account identity.
Firebase Realtime Database for synchronized cloud data storage.
Firebase Cloud Functions for server-side processing and app workflows.

Google AdMob

Google AdMob is used to display ads in the mobile app.
AdMob and its partners may process advertising identifiers, device information, and performance data according to Google's policies.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Cloud-stored account and finance data are retained while your account remains active, unless longer retention is required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Local cached data may remain on your device until you clear app data, sign out, or uninstall the app.

7. Children's Privacy

Namma Personal Fintracker is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates will be reflected by revising the "Last Updated" date on this page.
